[首圖]緣來如此第二樂章---緣舞曲*Waltz of Love

It's really hard to give an equivalent name to this series of artwork.Most of the names in Chinese are relatd to either to Chinese poetry/story or the special word we use for fate/destiny(but somehow different). This is a series of Chinese paper dolls combined with pastel. The style of Chinese paper dolls is different from Japanese paper dolls.

這系列共有四幅，

結合了粉彩與紙娃娃。

以前高中是紙藝社，

學了許多種紙娃娃的作法。

記得當時老師還強調是"中國"紙娃絓，

畢竟沒有和服的大蝴蝶結那麼誇張。

如果各位有機會去日本，

只需要在機場轉機，

就可以在機場裡的小店看到"日本"紙娃娃，

風格感覺真的有不同唷!

讓我們來看看紙娃娃怎麼呈現愛情的不同階段吧~

第一樂章:兩小無猜*puppy love

一直很喜歡李白<<長干行>>中的"...郎騎竹馬來，遶牀弄青梅。同居長干里，兩小無嫌猜..."。青梅竹馬、兩小無猜總是讓我聯想到純純的戀愛，不用考量太多現實與麵包，單純無憂地談戀愛。我想曖昧與熱戀時期帶有最多的單純甜蜜吧!

這是一對很有動感的娃娃，彷彿是牽著手嘻戲著。

I like the way this pair of dolls hold hands and walk through the garden.

第二樂章:緣舞曲*Waltz of Love

有人說兩人世界就像在跳一支舞，我前進你後退，兩個人要相互配合得好才有可能跳出一支漂亮的舞。我覺得探戈最適合用來做這個比喻。不過我不會做跳探戈的娃娃啦XD

I once heard that a love relationship is just like dancing tango. You move forward, then I move backwards.  But I don't know how to make dolls that are dancing tango.  Instead, I made this pair of dolls as if they are dancing.

這對娃娃是不是像正在跳"圓舞曲"?想像華爾滋中的旋轉，流暢的迴旋配合著皇帝圓舞曲，123、123、123......

第三樂章:鵲橋逢

在現今的社會中，分隔兩地是難免的，是不是像牛郎織女一般?

There is an old Chinese tale about a young man falling in love with the youngest daughter  the God. They were parted and were only allowed to meet each other once a year on the bridge formed by some kind of bird. Nowadays, a couple being parted seems to be inevitable.

嘿~我好壞~故意不讓他們手碰到XD

I am so bad that I intentivly did not let them reach each otherXD

走在即將見面的路上，好興奮唷，恨不得對方現在立刻就在自己眼前。

是不是伸長手臂就可以早點抱到對方?

(當牛郎織女真的不好玩啦，坐橫跨太平洋加半個美國的飛機真的好辛苦，機票又貴得要死。運氣好一年也只能見面區區二十幾天...

第四樂章:緣滿

誰說結婚是愛情的墳墓?(其實我實在無法證明這句話的真實性)不過我總是相信一段幸福的愛情終有一天會走向紅毯的另一端，所謂的修成正果?

這一系列是我2009年就完成的作品，

之前就是沒勁分享記錄作品背後的想法。

最近實在是太忙，

甚至是自動封筆一陣子，

也沒有什麼新成品。

不過偶而替以前的作品寫寫註解也很不賴，

不然那些想法只會留在心裡。

今天分享的這一系列，最喜歡哪一張?
