This miniature was made for a very special friend of mine. We've known each other since the age of 8 and we have been corresponding for almost 19 years. This is indeed a great acheivement for the both of us. This miniature is the milestone for our 20 years of friendship.
這座客廳一隅的娃娃屋是送給好朋友J的聖誕禮物。
說來這緣份很妙，我們八歲就認識了，
寫了快19年的書信。確實很不容易，
所以特別做了這座娃娃當作邁入筆友20年的哩程碑。
The idea of this project started from this draft:
一切從這張草圖開始:
I knew I would be extremely busy and stressed out towards the end of this year, so I planned ahead in summer.
知道2012年的最後幾個月我會忙得不可開交，
腦細胞全數陣亡，所以暑假就動工了。

A candle made from Yankee Candle's Midnight Jasmine candle and of course a copy of Jane Austen's <<Pride and Prejudice>>.
桌上放了今年做給J的聖誕卡、宮崎駿的DVD、
用茉莉花香的蠟製成的蠟燭，
當然還珍奧斯汀的傲慢與偏見一書。

2013年的第一篇就用這一座娃娃屋開始吧~
在這新的一年，大家有什麼新年新計畫嗎?
很多Elisa想做的東西去年沒時間做/完成，
只好放到今年嚕...
其實每一年的開始，
Elisa都會把這一年想做的作品、畫的畫作列一張表，
等有些些偷來的時間就可以動手。
不過，畫畫和手作都很看當下的心情，
往往最後動手完成的作品都不是列表上的啦XD
做個調查，大家比較喜歡看哪類作品?
另外，今年打算陸續寫些收納文。
不知道大家對這樣的單元有沒有興趣?
畢竟手作嘛，材料工具只有多不會少XD
怎麼收納才不會零亂就重要了。
希望Elisa今年多點時間和好心情靈感
想些可以和大家多點互動的點子來~
